After years of testing the limits of her body, she started to struggle with burnout. Working two nursing jobs and going to school, she struggled to stay awake in the evenings although she was only in her 20s. Through a combination of naturopathic medicine, functional medicine and lifestyle modifications, she was finally able to revive her energy tremendously after years of struggling to find answers and being told that everything was normal. Through this experience, she realized what her true meaning and purpose was. To spread the world that a lot of the health concerns we struggle with today (from diabetes, to heart disease, to cancer, to burnout, to IBS, to autoimmune conditions, etc) can be drastically improved through dietary and lifestyle changes. Quickly realizing that having the knowledge of what to do is often not enough for her patients, Jessica decided to obtain training and certification in health coaching. She understands that dietary and lifestyle changes are tough, because she has been there and continues to work towards optimizing more and more areas of her health. She now combines her knowledge and years of experience in medicine and patient care with her training in functional medicine, motivational interviewing and positive psychology to inspire lasting health and lifestyle change for her clients.
